The International Data-driven Research for Advanced Modeling and Analysis (iDRAMA Lab)

What is iDRAMA?

The International Data-driven Research for Advanced Modeling and Analysis (iDRAMA Lab) is a “meta-lab,” an international group of researchers with deep personal and professional connections interested in a variety of modern computing and socio-technical concerns. Collectively, we have published top-tier research in Distributed Systems, Cybersecurity, Privacy Technologies, Cryptography, Machine Learning, and even Video Games and Quantum Computing.

The current focus of the iDRAMA Lab is on understanding and mitigating modern socio-technological issues related to online harms and cybersafety, such as, online harassment campaigns, hate speech and political radicalization, online extremism and marginalized communities, disinformation and misinformation, as well as analyzing the subtle ways in which Web communities influence each other.
